- The file PQ2SND.CMD gives a map from the filenames on the tape to the
- filenames that must be used on the Perq. This file may easily be
- edited using eg. the Pepper editor (or any other editor with a
- keyboard macro facility) to create a command file renaming the files
- once they are on the Perq.
-
- The file PQ2MAK.CMD compiles and installs all the source modules that
- are delivered with Perq, and installs 'Kermit' on sys:Boot>. For
- instructions on how to create your own version of Kermit-Perq, also
- read the commented header of this file.
-
- Several other *.CMD files are 'take' files for Kermit-Perq, setting it
- up to be able to talk to a micro, an ND computer, a VAX/VMS computer
- etc. Some special conversions have been implemented for ND filenames,
- since Kermit-ND does not accept "."'s inside filenames.
-
- Good luck!
